It’s Friday the 13th and its October. It doesn’t get much better than this.
In September, several Springfield wedding vendors and I gathered together to host a Halloween styled shoot at The Barley House at Moontown Crossing. We wanted to inspire all the spooky, dark, moody, fall vibes for the couples who want a to add a little edge to their wedding day.
The Dress had the PERFECT black gown for us to use. The lace details give elevated morticia addams. I can’t recommend a black dress enough for brides who want to be outside of the box and break all the rules.
The florals were all designed by Kukal Designs. She put together the arch, table florals, boutonniere, bouquet, and floor design. The dark greenery with red, orange, and black accents elevated the mood.
Table linens, the large candelabras, and all tablescape decor was from none other than the amazing Eventful Rentals. They even had a skeleton for us to use! Their multicolored vintage glassware is my personal favorite.
Kelsey Keeton, who owns Beloved Beauty Company, was the one who designed this dark look for our bride. I swear there’s nothing Kelsey can’t do.
A spooky wedding wouldn’t be complete without a spooky cake. Frosted Fox was instantly my go-to when we needed dark and moody. The golden Skeleton on top takes the cake. (get it?)
Can we all appreciate the attention to detail that Gold Wedding Designs always puts into the invites? If you give her a theme she’ll put together something incredible for you.
