In all the preparations and planning of a wedding i’m sure you’ve heard someone mention a details box (I know you’ve heard me!). So what is a details box? What goes into a details box? Is a details box even important? Keep reading and I’ll spill all the details beans for you!
A details box is a gathering of all your small wedding details. It doesn’t really have to be a box, but a box is easier for transport, so it became the default container. The details box contains everything you purchased for your wedding that feels special. We use the items you put in your details box to photograph things that would otherwise be easily over looked.
Whatever you want to include in your details box is totally up to you. My rule of thumb that I tell everyone is if you’ve spent money on it specifically for your wedding day, put it in the details box.

It’s so easy to go on Pinterest and find the same items over and over again, but it’s your wedding day, your story, and your memories. The more unique items you add in, the more those photos will mean to you on down the road. Florals, vows, special ring boxes, and wedding day shot glasses are just the tip of the iceberg on what to add that gives it that little extra *touch*.
