It’s engagement season, which means that it’s time to start thinking about engagement sessions, which means you need a location!

The good news for you is that if you book us, we have some of the best locations in our back pocket (and the permits to shoot there too!) And because we love you, we’ll share a few of our most frequent spots with you too.

1.) Nathanael Greene Park/ Close Memorial Park

There is no lack of beauty at this Springfield, Missouri park. From flowers, lake (pond) scenery, small creeks, shaded green areas, you name it and this park has it.

2.) Breweries

Fun fact: If you have a frequent date night activity you should incorporate in to your engagement session for some extra fun. Places like breweries, mini golf, and ice cream make for great engagement sessions.

3.) Downtown Springfield

Want more urban photos? Let’s go downtown! The eclectic scene of downtown combined with a few of the rustic elements add such a timeless backdrop to your engagement session.

4.) Lake Springfield

Arguably my favorite place to photograph people. This park is never lacking gorgeousness. A small hike up into the woods gives us all the cliff side views that makes you feel like you’re in the ozark mountains.

5.) Your wedding venue

Did you know a ton of SWMO venues will let you come take your engagement photos on the property? It never hurts to ask, but I know a ton that include this!

6.) The Date Night Session

Remember how earlier I talked about breweries and engagement sessions? I wasnt kidding when I said that some of the best engagement sessions are just date nights with a photographer third wheel! Let’s go bowling, get ice cream, some drinks, and then cap off the night with some snuggles or something cute. (You two- not me. I’ll clarify that one.)
